School Vision

This first year is a bespoke preparatory year that will support your school’s culture and vision for maths.

You work with a Lead Practitioner and a few other schools. You will receive:

  • 5 days of professional development
  • Bespoke visits to your school
  • Opportunity to observe mastery lessons

Development
of Teaching for Mastery

This year you will work with a Mastery Specialist Teacher.

Your school will be part of a Teacher Research Group, where you watch mastery lessons being taught and reflecting on the five Big Ideas of Mastery.

Then...
Embedding
of Teaching for Mastery

You continue to work with a Mastery Specialist Teacher.

You are now embedding your Teaching for Mastery approach and are still part of a Teacher Research Group.

You continue to work with a Mastery Specialist Teacher.

You are now sustaining your Teaching for Mastery approach and are still part of a Teacher Research Group and your teachers will be invited to attend phase specific Teacher Research Groups.
